About the Welsh Council on Alcohol and Other Drugs
The Welsh Council on Alcohol and Other Drugs was created as a Registered Charity in 1968 as a successor to the temperance movements, and the Council is administered by the Churches’ representatives, as Trustees.
The Council is immensely grateful to Denominations, Churches and individuals who have remained faithful over the years and supported the Council through financial donations. After several concerns regarding the Council’s future, the Council has now decided on a three year strategy that will concentrate on promoting ‘Choice and Responsible Living’ (Click here to learn more about the Strategy - and how we’re doing with its implementation). |
